Petite Bulles - Blanc de Noir
2023 Vintage
Our premiere sparkling wine is made from 100% Pinot Noir grapes, sourced from our Dougherty Vineyard. To maximize the crisp light body, higher acidity, and minerality, we picked these grapes early. The traditional French method is used to produce the beautiful small bubbles!
Sauvignon Blanc
Various Vintage
Grown on a bluff above the Mokelumne River to create the perfect balance of summer heat and the coolness of the river shed. This wine is 100% fermented in stainless steel.
MS Chardonnaé
Various Vintage
Dedicated to the matriarchs of the McKenzie family, Meg and Sue. They were the driving force in creating this exclusive wine and, as such, we are proud to acknowledge their influence and have named this wine after them; MS Chardonnaé.
Pinot Noir
Various Vintage
Due to the high heat, Pinot Noir is rarely successfully grown in the Valley. On our Dougherty Vineyard, we have been blessed with the perfect combination of daytime heat and the cooling effects of the evening Delta breeze. Combine that with the sandy loams and you get this unique Pinot Noir with a wonderful silky texture.
Zins of Our Fathers
Various Vintage
In 1945, Donald Everett McKenzie returned home from WWII after being shot down, captured, and liberated by Patton. Upon his homecoming, Don returned to farming. In 1948, after his father passed away, Don inherited the operations and transitioned from Tokay-based table grapes to wine grapes, modernizing vineyard operations along the way. In 2010, Don was recognized and inducted into the San Joaquin County Agricultural Hall of Fame for his life's work in the grape industry. Zins of Our Fathers is a tribute to the memory of Don, the cornerstone of McKenzie Vineyards and Winery.
Cabernet Franc
Various Vintage
Our Cabernet Franc is sourced from our Dougherty Vineyard, which offers loamy soils. These soils produce a wine that is ready for your enjoyment as a refreshing youthful wine immediately after release. However, if you can overcome the temptation, it will develop into a full-bodied wine, capable of aging magnificently over many years.
Cabernet Sauvignon
Various Vintage
Cabernet Sauvignon has long been a grape of rare sustainability in the Lodi Appellation. Its delicate nature requires intense heat, cool evening breezes, and a longer growing season. We have found the ideal mixture on our vineyards along the Mokelumne River under the shadowing foliage of the historic Valley Oaks. These berries are hand-picked and slowly aged in 100% French Oak barrels, producing a superb Cabernet Sauvignon that is unique to the local appellation.
